Custom orthotics are devices/insoles that are made specifically for your feet in order to optimize the alignment of your lower extremity, starting at the foot and translating to the ankle, shin, upper leg and pelvis.
To alleviate any of the above, we use latest technology to make custom-made orthotics to help you improve efficiency of your daily functions.
You may not require a medical, however, your extended benefits provider may require one to ensure that these orthotics are medically necessary. Your Doctor may be required to provide you with a referral that lists the specific condition for which you require orthotics. Please speak with your therapist who can assist your physician with a diagnosis.
It will depend on your insurance plan, however, most of the coverages have a limited yearly maximum in addition to coverage limits for orthotic devices.
Unfortunately, we cannot direct bill your orthotics as per guidelines from the insurance companies. You may have to pay for it upfront and receipt will be provided to you. Physicians prescription and this receipt can then be used to get reimbursement for the orthotics’ expenses.
